After a half-dozen years at his alma mater, Terry Primm has found a new gig.

The former Palm Beach Atlantic men’s basketball coach announced he will become boys basketball coach at American Heritage.

Primm, who averaged 18.7 points per game in two seasons playing for PBA, was let go in February after going 36-127 in six seasons coaching the Sailfish. He was the team’s only coach since it moved up to Division II in 2007.

Primm, a Detroit native, was previously an assistant at PBA and at Benjamin, where he helped lead the Bucs to the 2001 Class 2A state title. His daughter, Crystal, is a former standout player at Palm Beach Central who now attends Oxbridge Academy.

PBSC tabs McMillin: Scott McMillin will replace George “Butch” Estes as Palm Beach State men’s hoops coach. McMillin, 36, spent the last 10 years coaching at Division II Lynn University and is 194-155 in a 12-year coaching career. His first head coaching job was a two-year stint at Santa Fe College.

Estes left PBSC to become head coach at Barry University in Miami.
